MacKenzie King are working with a local, family run haulage company based in Ipswich. This role will grow as the successful candidate develops with the business. The successful candidate will be supported to undertake professional qualifications and take on more and more responsibility making this role a perfect opportunity for a candidate in their early career to fast track their progress and be rewarded for it along the way. The role will begin in a transactional position and develop in time to include the following tasks making the successful candidate a real key player in the team.
Key tasks and responsibilities
- Accounts payable processing.
- Accounts Receivable processing.
- Ad hoc Accounts & Administration projects and duties as required.
- Credit control.
- Banking
- Payroll
- Cashflow
- Weekly Profit Reporting & Fuel Monitoring
- Quarterly VAT Returns
- Reconciling monthly P32 report and agreeing PAYE Payment
- Management Accounts
- Assisting with month end reporting.
